The short intensive courses (such as summer schools and bootcamps) are open for international students.
You can only be considered as an exchange student if there is a valid bilateral agreement between your home institution and University College Ghent. An interactive overview of all agreements of University College Ghent can be found here.
Exchange students are expected to have a good command of spoken and written English in order to be able to follow the lectures and complete the course assignments, oral presentations and exams. We advise the students to have a B2.
In addition, if a student chooses one of the language courses in our International Curriculum, we expect him/her to have the required entrance level. In the list of the courses, and also in the ECTS description of the courses, the entrance level is stated in the title of the course. For example: Français (CEFR-B1): the minimum level of French to be able to take this class is B1.
Students taking one of the language courses will be asked to provide us a certificate to prove this level. The certificate can be a statement by one of the home institution's language teachers.
