Electromechanics

Autumn 2026 marks the start of the new international programme in Electromechanics. It combines theoretical courses with practicums, supervised project work and internships. Exchange students will select 24 credits from programme-oriented courses, such as CAD Mechanics, with 6 credits from optional courses, amongst those Entrepreneurship. The industrial Internship is organized in collaboration with leading companies in the electromechanics industry.

Programme content

The internship assignment has a multidisciplinary structure based on various study components. The students study and integrate the learning content of the various courses that are covered during the internship assignment. In the internship, the emphasis is on professional competence and getting to know a real working atmosphere. Students are expected to function fully in their internship company.

Final objectives:

  • The Bachelor can make a technical design in a structural way within an electromechanical project and can pay attention to the regulations.
  • The Bachelor programs in a structural way within a project.
  • The Bachelor installs and maintains complex products and systems and pays attention to safetyregulations.
  • The Bachelor can optimize systems using relevant and executed measurements and results.
  • The Bachelor can make an analysis based on a technical problem or question and can gather different solutions and communicate in a correct way.
  • The Bachelor makes a critical, socially responsible choice of different components or/and products to integrate within an electromechanical system.
  • The Bachelor organises proactive his activities in an autonomous and planned manner depending on the priorities and conditions with sense for entrepreneurship and attention for improved development.
  • The Bachelor works constructively within a team and takes responsibility to deliver the obtained result.
