FTILab+ is embracing new digital technologies, such as AI and virtual prototyping, that are transforming product development and manufacturing processes.
Our current projects.

ComforTex AI (’23-’25)
This project aims to apply innovative techniques such as IR thermography and artificial intelligence (Deep Learning, DL), and to develop a new methodology for predicting garment comfort while taking fabric properties into account.

Digital Fashion
The DigitalFashion project enables education and training providers to offer new digital training methods, allowing students and professionals to quickly and efficiently learn a range of key technologies for designing and manufacturing customised products in a virtual environment.

ECOFIN (’25-’27)
The ECOFIN project will expand our dyeing and finishing infrastructure with a digital printer equipped with a customised printhead, as well as a digital system for spray dyeing and finishing, aimed at sustainable textile finishing.
