Graduates with a bachelor of drama:

- can, on the basis of research, express and share thoughts, feelings or imaginations with an audience, whereby text, image or other material is presented in a personal and artistic manner;
- have, as makers/directors/authors, developed their own artistic language and original signs, or have, as actors/performers, expanded their scope of expression, whereby they can respond creatively to what their fellow actors, the audience or accidental passers-by have to offer;
- can, at least at beginner's level, translate thoughts, feelings or imaginations into an original text with due dramatic force;
- can analyse the content, theatrical scope and context of complex and literary texts and can express these texts and share them with an audience in generally accepted Dutch;
- are able to reflect critically and can, backed by research methods and techniques, acquire and process information in a methodical manner;
- can function creatively and functionally within a theatre company without losing their uniqueness;
- show a due sense of responsibility in relation to colleagues, the audience and equipment, and take initiatives that benefit the company as a whole;
- are aware of what goes on in the world of art and drama and are conscious of the personal and social responsibility related to this;
- are able to deal with time pressure, schedules and budgets, have sufficient insight into the social, business and promotional aspects of being a performing artist, can write promotional material and are able to draw up a simple application for subsidies.

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) of Drama has direct access (DA) to at least one Master program and can gain access to other related Master programs after the successful completion of a preparatory program (PP):
