Master Contemporary Music

The aim of the subsequent master - master of arts Soloist Contemporary Music is to enable the graduates to function independently and to excel within the world of contemporary music either as a solo artist or as a solo artist in the context of a chamber music ensemble and to continue to develop.

Graduates with a master of arts, soloist contemporary music are capable of:

- independently expressing their own artistic views and their own musical intuition related to contemporary music in a research and implementing project in a reasoned and duly academic manner;
- underpinning their own research and implementing project with a critical analysis and of critically interpreting the same in a broad, historical and contemporary, cultural and artistic context;
- independently creating and maintaining an inspiring and functional work situation for themselves;
- independently selecting, or developing and applying their own effective method for their research or implementing project;
- developing at an ever more advanced level as researching musician;
- applying communication skills that enable them to function as researching and performing musicians, accomplishing their projects and making this known in the world of music or expanding their field of work as a result in the best possible way;
- making a considerable contribution to the musical group process.

A Master of Arts (MA) Soloist Contemporary Music is directly connected with the Master of Arts (MA) of Music and can gain access to related Master programs after the successful completion of a preparatory program (PP):
