Bachelor of Wood Technology

The aim of the professional bachelor of wood technology is to turn students into competent and multi-skilled people who fulfil a key role in research, the organisation and automation of processes within the wood, building and decoration sectors, but can also be deployed in middle management with a higher level of specialisation and/or responsibility. The study programme aims to produce professionals who are eminently deployable in the range of activities and aspects of an operating process. Graduates with a bachelor of wood technology are capable of: - planning, implementing, following up and adjusting operating processes, in accordance with the legal regulations and (quality) standards; - anticipating technological development; - acting in accordance with the principles of sound logistic management and business management; - giving evidence of a high level of communication skills, self-reliance, team spirit, creativity and a lifelong learning attitude; - based on founded preliminary knowledge, giving adequate advice and/or technical support; - drawing up, introducing and abiding by standard procedures in the workplace.

A Bachelor (Ba) of Wood Technology can, after the successful completion of a bridging program (between 45 and 90 credits), gain access to the following Master Programs:
